Aims and Objectives – Lhopa Khangtsen

 Actually the monastery or Gompa means a place a bit distant from the town and is a place used regularly for learning, study and meditation.

The three big Gelug monasteries all provide education based on the reasoning path from the ancient Nalanda tradition aimed at serving the benefit of others.

Historically, many centuries have gone by but still our monastery follows the ancient teachings. Lhopa Khangsten is one of the great providers of Buddha dharma and especially lama Tsongkappa’s tradition for world peace.

That’s why we need new room for new monks from all over the world. Who ever gives generously is already serving Bhuddha dharma and particularly serving world peace, and helping others.
